Purpose

Each of us has a purpose, and I believe we are all created by God to fulfill a special part of His plan. Hebrews 12:1-2 calls us to "...lay aside every weight..." and "...run the race that is set before us...." As you have probably already deducted, I am a Christian, and my goal in writing this blog is mainly to encouraging other people who share similar values. I have absolutely no problem however with people who hold other beliefs or values, reading, commenting, and following "Thoughts on Trial." On this blog I am going to share my thoughts and snippets from others with the ultimate goal of challenging each of you to THINK thoughts that are True, Honorable, Just, Pure, Lovely, Commendable, Excellent, and Praiseworthy.
Why? Why is it important to be careful what we think about? We gather ideas from many different sources - movies, books, TV, music, magazines, people, the list goes on. The important thing is how we filter these thoughts and what we do with them. Guarding what we put into our minds is like an athlete watching his diet. It is essential for athletes to be carful of what they put into their bodies if they want to be able to perform at their best so that they can win. It is essential for us to be carful of what we think about because our thoughts turn into actions, actions form habits and habits become a way of life. You are running the race of life. Running well is your choice.
Thank you so much for joining me on this exciting journey!
